Tatted medallion in progress

Well... tatting in progress :)  I have forgotten how much I enjoy tatting this little motif 

Please take  a look at this comparison of different thread sizes.

The black motif is in size 5 (Aida I believe), beige motif is size 10 (Lizbeth I suppose ) and blue one is size 20 (Lizbeth again)

New tatting pattern

I am very pleased to announce that my next tatting pattern is available to buy in my Etsy shop. I designed this motif few years ago however the pattern was written down recently. 

I am very lucky that my fellow tatters like my designs. As you know I used to sell a lot of my jewellery online and on different craft fairs. Few months ago I have decided that I prefer designing and this is what I am going to focus on.

Gold and pearls baroque style lace necklace

For this lace necklace I have used a gold thread and pearl seed beads. The effect is much better than I have ever expected . It reminds me a richness of baroque era. I use this design in so many projects and you can see - it makes a big difference  when you use completely different thread and beads.

New tatted lace earrings -Eleonore

I am very exited about my newest design- tatted  lace earrings - I was playing with a part of bracelet pattern and after redesigned it I made this lovely earrings. I am really very happy how they look. What do you think?

Lace ruffle collar

This time I want to show you beautiful tatted collar I made recently. The pattern comes from "Crocheted and knitted bedspreads" by The Canadian Spool Cotton Company from 1943. Very elegant addition to any outfit, even for a retro style wedding dress. I think it is my biggest project so far and I am really pleased with it. I used a  cream cotton thread Aida in size 20

Tym razem chce Wam pokazac piękny frywolitkowy kolnierzyk, ktory zrobilam niedawno. Wzor pochodzi z "Crocheted and knitted bedspreads" wydanej przez The Canadian Spool Cotton Company w 1943roku. Kolnierzyk taki stanowi niezwykle elegancki dodatek do kazdego stroju, nawet do sukni slubnej w stylu retro. Jak dostad to chyba moj najwiekszy projekt i jestem z niego bardzo zadowolona. Uzylam kremowej bawelnianej nici Aida w rozmiarze 20

Bold black lace bracelet

Few weeks ago I bought a much thicker thread than usual, in size 5. It gives much more dramatic results, lace is bold.

I designed a new bracelet and it looks really good with this thread (black Aida 5)

Pare tygodni temu kupilam nic duzo grubsza niz zwykle, w rozmiarze 5. Daje ona bardziej wyrazisty rezultat, koronka jest zdecydowanie pogrubiona.

Zaprojektowalam nowa bransoletkę i mysle, ze wyglada naprawde dobrze supłana ta nitką (czarna Aida 5)

Lace bracelet in terracotta

Hello my dear followers! This is a very busy time  for me, but I am perfectly happy with it.  Recently I made this gorgeous bracelet (pattern from Priscilla book from 1915! ) in beautiful colour of terracotta (something between deep red and brown) (Lizbeth 20). I have already sold it, so have to tat one more :)

Witam wszystkich ! Jestem bardzo zajeta ostatnio, ale to dobrze! Oczywiscie frywolitkami :)

Ostanio zrobilam kolejna bransoletke (wzor ze starej ksiazki Priscilli  z 1915 roku ) w pieknym kolorze terracotta (odcien pomiedzy glęboka czerwienia a brązem) (nic Lizbeth 20). Juz jest sprzedana, wiec musze ja wysuplac raz jeszcze :)

Tatting Pattern - Snowflake

I am very happy to let you know that my first tatting pattern is just available to buy on Etsy
This small lovely snowflake is quick to tat. It requires 2 shuttles to make it.  I use following techniques : SCMR  (if you are not familiar with SCMR, you can make regular ring), chains, rings on chains made using second shuttle  , lock joins, picots

Bardzo mi milo powiadomic Was, ze moj pierwszy frywolitkowy wzor jest juz dostepny do kupienia na Etsy. Ta sliczna mala sniezynka jest bardzo szybka do zrobienia.
Wzor wymaga uzycia 2 czólenek. Wykorzystalam nastepujace techniki : SCMR (self-closing mock ring -nie wiem, jak to sie nazywa po polsku) - (jesli nie znacie tej techniki, to mozna zrobic normalne koleczko, choc efekt jest wtedy leciutko inny), lancuszki, koleczka robione drugim czolenkiem na lancuszku, lock joins (i tu tez nie wiem, jak to sie po polsku nazywa ), pikotki.

My tatted snowflakes

This is a great time to tat more and more snowflakes. I adapted my Leocadia pattern and made those adorable small snowflakes. They will be look gorgeous on a Christmas Tree.

Obecnie jest fantastyczny czas by suplac wiecej i wiecej snieżynek. Przerobilam troche na potrzeby snieżynek moj wzor Leocadia i zrobilam te slicznosci. Bedą wygladać przepięknie na choince. 

Snowflakes which do not melt

Beautiful tiny snowflake earrings in white (100 % cotton) with lovely sparkly Swarovski crystals in the centre and small tear drop bead outside . They are attached to silver earrwires

This set of elegant, sophisticated earrings was shuttle tatted by me . I used a snowflake motif by Elizabeth C. Zipay .

Sliczne małe snieżynki -białe frywolitkowe kolczyki (100% bawełny) z błyszczącymi kryształkami Swarovskiego i

 malutkimi koralikami w kształcie kropli. 

Te eleganckie kolczyki zostały zrobione przeze mnie przy użyciu czólenka do frywolitek. Skorzystalam ze wzoru na sniezynki autorstwa  Elizabeth C. Zipay
